The temple desperately needs your help. We are currently in the process of finding funds for the first stage of the Thammarak Niwet Project, which is a housing village for AIDS patients who have nowhere to go.

No amount is too large or too small.

At present we are negotiating with banks to enable us to receive donations via credit cards. In the meantime, there are three ways you can donate:

 

1. You can send money order, check, or cashiers check to the THAMMARAK FOUNDATION, Wat Phra Baht Nam Phu, P.O. Box 83, Lopburi, Thailand.15000. Please note: Be sure to enclose your name and address so as to issue a receipt.

 

2. You can donate via one of our four bank accounts in Thailand. The name of the account is the THAMMARAK FOUNDATION. Money can be transferred to the following banks in Thailand:

a. Bangkok Bank (Lopburi branch) account no. 2890846971

b. Sri Ayudhaya Bank (Lopburi branch) account no. 111-1-25464-0

c. Siam Commercial Bank (Lopburi branch) account no. 579-233730-7

d. Thai Military Bank (Lopburi branch) account no. 304-2-41277-9.

Having donated, please send a photocopy of your deposit slip along with your name and address to the temple.

 

3. You can purchase a home at the housing village. The home would be in your name and either:

a. for AIDS patients who are currently homeless; or

b. in the name of your company for any of your employees who contract HIV/AIDS.

Houses cost Bt120,000 (one bedroom), Bt240,000 (two bedrooms), Bt260,000 (three bedrooms) Bt480,000 (four bedrooms) and Bt600,000 (five bedrooms). These figures in US dollars are $2,400, $4,800, $7,200, $9,600 and $12,000. Please note: the Thai baht is very fragile at present! These figures in US dollars may decrease or increase to a small extent over the next few months.
